    The Baileigh PL-1440E Metal Lathe is a versatile machine with a 14” swing over bed and a 40” distance between centers. It operates on a 3 hp motor with a variable speed range of 90 to 1,800 rpm. The lathe features a digital readout (DRO), a gap lathe design for larger diameter workpieces, an integrated coolant system, and comes with both 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks. It’s ideal for small to medium shops.
